Your account — Siterka

Everything about your account is here: profile, settings, password, pausing and deleting. You reach all of it from the header menu — click your avatar.

Profile and photo

Open /my-profile (menu: Edit Profile). Fill in First Name, Last Name, Gender and Short Bio, then click Update Profile. Name and gender change straight away. Your short bio shows on your public page, so a change to it goes to review — until we've looked at it, visitors see the previous version.

Your photo shows on your card, your profile and in messages. On the same page click Select photo (or Replace photo); it saves as soon as you pick it. The photo can be up to 5 MB, and a new one replaces the old.

Hide your online status

In Preferences on the same page, tick Hide my online status from public profile. The green dot that shows you're online then no longer appears on your card and profile.

Language

Switch language with the SR / EN buttons in the top right of the header, or in your profile Preferences (Display language). Serbian is the default; the English version lives at addresses starting with /en. We remember your choice.

Light or dark theme

Next to the language buttons is a moon or sun icon — it switches the theme. On your first visit we follow your device setting; after that we remember your choice.

Changing your password

In the menu choose Change password (/change-password). Enter your current password, then the new one twice, and click Update password. After the change we sign you out on every other device — you stay signed in only where you changed it. If you've forgotten your password, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page.

Signing out

Click your avatar and choose Logout. We take you back to the home page.

Pausing your account

If you don't need Siterka for a while, you can pause your account instead of deleting it. At the bottom of /my-profile click Pause my account and type PAUSE to confirm. While paused, your advert is not in the listings or search, and others can't message you. The advert page stays available, with a note that the account is paused. All your data stays. The pause ends as soon as you sign in again.

Deleting your account

At the bottom of /my-profile there's a Danger zone section with a Delete my account button. Deleting is permanent: your profile, advert and account are removed. Blog posts you wrote stay public, without the author's name.

To confirm, we ask you to type your email. After deleting you can register again with the same email whenever you like.
