Browsing sitters & jobs
There are two listings that mirror each other: /sitters for caregivers and /sitter-jobs for parent ads. Both share the same filter bar and the same infinite-scroll behaviour.
Search and filter bar
The horizontal bar at the top of each listing combines a free-text search with four quick chips — City, Engagement type, Availability and Child age — then a More filters button for everything else. Anything you change applies immediately; there's no separate search button.
Those four earn the space because they narrow a listing hardest: engagement type splits ongoing, occasional and one-off, and availability offers mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. The order is the same on phone and desktop.
The search box matches caregivers, cities, and skills (or jobs, cities, families on the parent side). It's diacritic-insensitive — typing nis finds Niš.
More filters
Click More filters at the end of the bar to reach the rest: Languages, Skills and Certifications on both listings; plus Education and Rate on the caregiver listing, and Number of children on the parent listing. The number on the button itself says how many of those are switched on — without it you'd have no way to tell something was active while the panel is shut.
On a phone, instead of separate chips, the full panel opens over the list. All filters are together there, including the sort order, and the button at the bottom shows the number of results — click it to close the panel. As you scroll, the header tucks away to make room for cards; the filter bar stays at the top only while a filter is on.
Maximum rate
Rate lives under More filters and only exists on the caregiver listing. Pick a currency and enter your Max hourly rate. The filter accepts cross-currency matches — a max set in RSD also catches EUR and USD listings that fall under the same threshold once converted, and vice versa. Adverts with no rate still appear, sorted below the priced ones: a blank rate isn't a claim to cost more than your ceiling, so there's no reason to hide it.
Pagination
Listings show one page of cards at a time, with numbered page links at the bottom. Use Previous / Next or tap a page number to move through results. The Per page selector lets you switch between page sizes — your choice carries through every filter you apply, and the URL keeps your spot so you can share or bookmark a specific page.
Opening a profile
Tap any card to open the full profile (/sitters/[id] for caregivers, /sitter-jobs/[id] for jobs). The profile shows photos, bio, rate, languages, child-age groups, certifications, and reviews. From there you can save, message, or rate.
